This little bud vase was inspired after seeing an exhibition of Lucie Rie’s ceramics in Cambridge. I found myself suddenly working in a similar visual language with more crisp forms to the piece and carved with razor thin lines. Evoking mid century vibes, the work is glazed with a russet brown interior and cream exterior with the iron oxide highlighting the carving. Perfect for little posies to brighten up your table.
